1. Never use or add water or gel.
2. Never dismantle or remove the vent plugs or the safety valve from the cell. This is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery.
3. Keep battery top clean and dry.
4. Keep flame and metal away from battery top.
5. Discharge to a maximum of 80% or 1.90 volts per cell.
6. Battery MUST be charged by an approved VRLA charger of correct voltage
and current output.
7.Cool before charging or operating if battery is hot.
8. Keep truck compartment and battery cover open during charging.
9. Opportunity charging is acceptable with VRLA batteries as long as there is sufficient cool-down time
at the end of each charge, and the battery is given a full charge daily.
